Autopilot Lands in Sydney
Fresh off the heels of our 1-year anniversary party in San Francisco, on June 9th we opened the Sydney office of Autopilot at the Bar Eden and Restaurant in the MLC Center, Sydney CBD. Autopilot has an active and busy community in Australia and New Zealand, including a meetup and nearly 300 customers ranging from national brands and agencies to fast-growing startups, like Harris Farms and Pet Circle. Over 250 growth marketers, business leaders, and founders showed up to enjoy cocktails, canapes, and to tune into a panel of awesome guests. These included the Hon. NSW Minister for Innovation, Victor Dominello, as well as Bill Bartee, General Partner at Blackbird Ventures, and Mike Sharkey (Autopilot CEO & Co-founder). Some of the highlight comments and takeaways from the evening included:
Australian university graduates are starting to favor entrepreneurship over working at corporates, thanks to companies like Atlassian and Autopilot (thanks @wbartee)
Mike presenting a red “Make NSW Great Again” hat to the NSW Minister (lots of laughs)
And these tweets… We had a blast celebrating the customer journey and Sydney’s growing startup scene, of which Autopilot has the privilege of being a part of. Enjoy these pics from the night, and be sure to join us next time!

Eden, the setting of the evening. Welcome! Fancy bites. Stylish. Listening in on the panel. Autopilots…Chris, Mike, Chris, and Guy. Peace! To many more good nights and good times, Sydney.
